Virtual reality therapy provides an immersive and interactive therapeutic experience through computer generated 3-dimensional environments that can be interacted with.
Virtual reality therapy exposes users to calming environments and guides users to practice mind-calming techniques that they can use in real-world scenarios. Our VR hardware is paired with TRIPP® XR, which combines proven meditation techniques, flow-inducing gameplay, binaural audio, and breath visualization.
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (pEMF) stimulation is imperceptible, yet the effects are real. You can't feel it because an electromagnetic field is generated through a wire coil that simply flows through the air and pases through your body effortlesslly. At low intensity pEMF is safe and has numerous clinical benefits.
pEMF, also known as pulsed electromagnetic field stimulation, creates a difference in how our neurons fire and can be like physical therapy for the brain. Our systems are programmable so that we can choose the frequency to be delivered from between 0.31 HZ to 300,000 Hz, depending on the desired treatment outcome. When rhythm is given to the brain, the brain naturally begins to follow that rhythm.
PEMF is an incredibly versatile treatment. We place the coils around the head for brainwave entrainment and coherence. This is because the consistent rhythm of the stimulation helps neurons synchronize. We also frequently place coils on the belly for inflammation reduction, and around joints for arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other ailments.
PEMF is relatively gentle compared to other stimulation technologies. Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, for example, uses changes in magnetic field of up to 1-2 Tesla, which is forty thousand of times more powerful than the stimulation we use. A household refrigerator generates more EMF than the pEMF system we use in treatment. However, less is more, and we can influence how the brain responds with just a whisper of pEMF stimulation. Instead of forcing neurons to fire, we are simply nudging them to change the timing of the way they spontaneously fire.
We perform EEG brain mapping, or what is known as quantitative electroencephalograms (QEEG), on all of our clients before we do stimulation. To read about how we listen to brainwaves click the following button:
